Hannah the Fashion Plate

It's probably going to seem as if I'm mocking Hannah, but I'm really not. We were headed over to Nana and Pop's house for supper last night and Hannah wanted to take her bike with her. The rule for bike riding is closed-toed shoes with socks. No ifs, ands, or buts. Hannah anticipating us telling her to put on shoes and socks beat us to the punch.

She just LOVES her fuzzy, "froggy mommy" socks and tries to wear them everywhere. I have NO idea how she manages to stuff her feet into those shoes with those socks on.

She is such a funny little thing, needing to be "beautiful" all the time, but at the same time craving comfort. The fuzzy socks seem to provide both for Hannah. Posted by Picasa

I would have put together a similar outfit when I was a child and never had a clue that it looked a bit "off". I can remember thinking that all my favorite things would look even better if I wore them together.

Mom has a picture of me somewhere is some crazy outfit with my short hair sticking up, a pastel sweater and black belt around my waist - over the sweater, of course. Those belts are really in style now - I was just fashion forward!

Maybe Hannah's socks and sandals preference will catch on in a few years too. :-)

Fuzzy socks are always in style....I often receive them for a birthday gift, and they are perfect for camping.
