Okay, so I had intended to do nothing but laundry and grading this evening, and then, the dress arrived. "The dress" is to be her Easter dress. She and Ella will be matching and I LOVE it. The dress is NOT the one Jessie and I ordered, yet, Lil LOVES LOVES LOVES it! :o)
In fact, she saw the dress and said, "I wear dee dress. I a princess!" Yup, she's my little princess. :o) In fact, I could have sworn she was channeling Hannah in her poses, dancing and fanciness. ;o) Again I say, genetics are AMAZING!
You'll have to bear with me. The new "baby" is horribly easy to use and I found I had taken 83 pictures within 10 minutes! Holy Moly! I've tried to cull them and post only the best. Oh, in case you might have been wondering what Lily was doing in that picture up there, she's singing. :o)
Digging for her "princess shoes".
I caught her mid-twirl.
"Ta-dah!" (This pose reminded me of Hannah.)
She pulled out her skirt and took a bow. :oP
Doesn't she look happy to be dancing with Daddy?
The "princess shoes".
We found these sweet little shoes in shell pink and white on clearance at Tar-jay.
"Oh, wait, I need DIS!" And, she got "dat".
And then, she wanted her "Udder princess dress".
Cinderella?
What a doll!
She had put on these shoes and determined they must be mine, so, she put them on me. ;o)
And, she put her tiara on by herself as well. Can you tell?
She was pondering the "gem" she was wearing.

I am loving all the pics you are taking with your new baby! Lily is such a sweetheart and that dress is beautiful, especially with the special princess shoes!
I bet you are going to have such a great time in KS!
A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. These photos are priceless, Rach. The bow, the twirl...She is beautiful, just beautiful. Please give her a kiss with my name on it.
(and I should look so good in just my undies and a neck-a-less, sigh)
Linda
She is too precious. And wearing panties...potty training must be going well. Woohoo! Have a fun vacation.
She is quite the little princess! Hugs to you!

She does look so very much like Hannah in those pictures...except for the adorable "nekkid baby" one at the end. How sweet. Is the dress the same, with just a different pattern? It looks similar. What a happy night tonight must have been. Dancing with daddy nights were always special here.
Lily is beautiful!!! Her hair kept changing colors through the different pictures :o) I think the pink/redder dresses made her hair appear red. Love it!

Hi Rach
I'm not sure how I have come across your blog, I think that it was through either Sheye's or Danielle's.
I've only had a chance to have a quick look at your blog as my little one is due to wake up soon. However, I just wanted to let you know that I have visited and will certainly be back as I've enjoyed reading your entries.
Lily looks absolutely stunning in her Easter dress. Ohh and those princess shoes are adorable. What a treasure she is.
I look forward to popping back soon.
You have a sweet girl there! Lily is adorable!
She is so cute. Lily and my 2 year old remind me of each other. Except Suzie wears her tiara backwards on her head.
Hi, I'm Gina. I started reading your blog shortly after you had lost Hannah and began praying for you and your family. I'm amazed at how well grounded you all are!
Anyway, you keep talking about the "new baby" the camera and I can't find anywhere where you talked about what kind you got. I definetly want a new camera. Thanks so much! Gina. You can drop me a quick email to let me know if you don't blog about it (gina_ritter@yahoo.com). Thanks!
OH these made me LAUGH! and...I needed a good laugh :) So fun. Love the dress, and the pics! (it is a GREAT camera!)
I love her easter dress, very pretty! I hope you guys have a safe trip.
Wow - I don't know if it is the new camera or what - but the reddish/golden highlights really show in Lily's hair. What a beautiful color!!
Also - perhaps I missed it - but did you give details on exactly what kind of new baby it is that you have? I would so LOVE a new camera before my trip to Italy (with 99 high school students plus other adults)! That macro setting would be WONDERFUL for catching details on the beautiful buidlings/fountains/artwork we are sure to see.
(You can email me that info rather than post it - but PLEASE do not post my email address on your webpage...I know you screen them so that won't be a problem, right? My email is jandeoneill@sbcglobal.net and I am Elisa...I'd love to know more about that camera!) (So you know - I found you through cancio.org....Kim told me about fancy Hannah when she explained why she was wearing a tiara at her garage sale!) : )
I love her Easter dress!! Where did you find it??? She is such a cutie! And the camera is awesome!
Love the dress and the pictures. She is so stinkin' cute. Have a great trip.
Beautiful! the dress looks great on her and her sweetness shows.
Thanks for sharing them!
These are precious precious photos Rach. I think you should do some sort of collage with them. I LOVE the singing one the best, but gosh, they are all amazing. So amazing!!
That is the most adorable dress...She is such a little princess....I see so much of Hannah in her....
Hugs.
Those photos are SO adorable!!! And I love, love that dress.
So sweet!
I love that last picture. It is so sweet.
The dress is SO pretty! It is def something that I would have picked out for my girls to wear. I love the little dancing and "princess" things she is into. Kelsie is the same way right now!
I LOVE these picture! Oh to be a child again!
What a pretty dress!!! I bet this will be one of those dresses that little girls remember (well from pics)...You are very smart to take lots of pics.
She is just adorable!
I like the 'ta-da'! And, the upside down crown. Just so cute.
Great pics! I love the dress... it's adorable.
I've got a Nikon DSLR.... so I know what you mean. I can take hundreds of pictures in a single day, even when there's nothing much happening. Enjoy it!
Boy is she PRECIOUS!!!!
My most favorite picture is the last one. Of her playing with her necklace in her roo's.
*sigh*
She is SUCH a DOLL!!!
But I also like the one of her in mid twirl..it like the epidamy of a "little girl"
You are blessed!
Rach,
As I looked at these pictures again, I was reminded of a song by the late Luther Vandross called "To Dance With My Father Again".... Listen if you haven't: listen again, if you have. It brings me to my knees every time I hear it. And I mean that it in a good way. Dancing with Daddy, whether you are a little boy or a little girl is something very, very special.
