Hooray for Studio Time

Ella and I played in the studio for a bit last Thursday and Lil and I have been in there the past few days as well. I am in love with this new DSP, "Cottage Wall". The main colors are Old Olive, Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry my eye just adores the way these colors come together. In fact, I'm working on a few more things with this paper. :o) This is what I have created so far ("recipe" details available upon request):

The sentiment is actually popped up with dimensinoals, but you can't really see it in the photo.

I don't know why, but this paper just makes me giddy. Hee hee! :o) I've had a delightful time playing and hope to get a little more play time in this evening and again tomorrow. :o)

Today's Sparklies:

1. Studio time and time spent with Lil. She is such a good little crafter and is even excellent at cleaning up after herself. She's getting to the point now she will put things away correctly if she knows where they belong. HOORAY!
2. Chicken Tikka Masala for dinner. We haven't had the "pink" chicken for dinner in quite a while and it sure was tasty.
3. The Roman shades are doing an excellent job of keeping the temperature down in our bedroom. The front of the house heats up so terribly in the summer afternoon sun--UGH!--and the light blocking shades are providing some much needed relief.
4. It's Paul's birthday! Happy Birthday, Paul!! :o)
5. Summer vacation is here just a bit longer. :o)

No milestones.

Glad you got some studio time and those cards are all just gorgeous. I am in love with so may of the new DP patterns and anything with Rich Razzleberry is a must have!!

I am so glad Lily is turning into a great crafting buddy. I am thinking of holding a Mommy and me class with a few friends to try and get the girls more interested in stamping.

Gorgeous cards! You said that you liked the colors for this season a bit better. Lovely, lovely!

Now, if this little girl of mine would remain in bed tonight, I would be doing lovely, lovely!

I agree, that is an awesome color scheme (and your card-craftiness skill certainly doesn't hurt either). Glad to hear that Lily seems to enjoy crafting also. Start 'em early!
