Where's Fisbee?

I think maybe Fisbee was just settling in the past couple of years because this year he seems quite comfortable in our home.

A couple days ago we found him driving Brien's race car!

Yesterday he got into the markers and began writing things.  Lil thinks his handwriting is pretty good for an elf.

And, don't even get me started about the mischief he got into last night!  It seems Fisb got Lil's camera and began snapping photos!  What are we going to do with him?  Where oh where is the sweet little elf who sat quietly upon the shelf silently watching the goings on around him?  I'm sure Mr. Fisbee is sure to have many more adventures as Christmas draws near. And, you can be sure I'll be sharing.  :o)

For those of you who have elves visiting, what are some of the things they have been up to this year, and do tell what they did last year.  I say we help one another out, what do you think?

(Oh, and yes, Lil has been thoroughly enjoying this--as have Jori's girls.)

Today's Sparklies:

1.  I found another hairstyle for Beanie:
If I use a pony holder, it stands straight up.  But, with a barrette, it lays flat.  I can't believe how old she's looking here!
2.  I had a lovely visit with my friend Christy and her little guy this morning.
3.  Lily's Advent paper chain today was to make popcorn and eat it as a family.  That combined with "The Grinch" sounds like a wonderful evening. :o)
4.  We've been eating in the dining room and I'm really enjoying it.
5.  More time with family, less time wasting time on the internet.  Yay!

No milestones.

I giggle each time I see your Black elf! Who knew? He sounds like he's been up to some fun things. Jamison's friend's elf got into the candy can jar...there were pieces all over the table. Another friend of mine had an elf TP her sons' room. Crazy :) I adore Bean's new style.

Oh My! Fisbee is adorable! When I was growing up we had 6 similar ornaments on our tree, one for each child and a Mr and Mrs Clause for my Mom and Dad. Over the years they grew old, worn and tired.

Imagine my delight when I found one at a local thrift shop for .15 cents! I now have 4 from my thrift store treasure hunts and hope to find more!

Thanks for the smile :) Your Fisbee is adorably cute (and a little naughty ;)

Yes,please on the elf ideas! My 6 year old has very high expectations of the elf being more clever every day year (who am I kidding - she wants something new every DAY!) :). In the past we have hung "Calissa" from the high foyer light, upside down from chandelier from over the dinner table. I can't remember what else I have done. i stole your camera idea last night and it was a hit.

Yipee! We are having such fun with Buddy and Fisbee! I love Ellies hair! It is so adorable. It makes her look like a big girl. How do they grow so fast? Hal is now agreeing to sit on the potty and wear undies. The only problem? She changes into a pull up to do her biz, throws it in the garbage and changes back to undies. Baby steps right?? She's killin me.

Oh, Buddy can be found in the plants, tucked into the stuffed Christmas bits, he was in the Dicken's Village the other night. K- has pleaded with Buddy to make certain that he lands high on days when we will be having visitors that may not understand the ramifications of touching said elf. I told her that he agreed that staying high and dry is the way.

He has been in our lamps and you could see him when we turned the lamp on. He's also sat on the fan blades of the ceiling fan. Tops of curtain rods are lovely and being dunked into a Christmas tree or two has happened. He also wanted to see what was in the stockings and was so tired that he decided that was where he had to sleep.

I admit, the first overnight Buddy was in the same spot the next morning when the "let's find Buddy" adventure began. :doh!: I can tell you that, um, Buddy wanted to "trick" K- by magically landing in the same spot, because he figured that K- wouldn't look there. For whatever it is worth, K- took it hook, line and sinker.

Buddy was sporting a birthday blow-out last year on K-'s birthday. What will he do this year?
