Both of these are a bit fuzzy, but I confess, I do like them both. Had I a child who would stand still for more than 0.000002 seconds, I might have a bit more luck. ;o)
Last night, Bitty and I worked on--and finished!--her gift to Beanie.
She was a tying dynamo.
That is some amazingly soft fleece and Lil decided she needs to make one for herself once the after Christmas sales roll around.
We had a couple of scrap pieces of fleece leftover, and looking at them, she decided Fisbee needed a scarf and blanket. She left them for him last night--which was a good thing, given his nightly antics.

Fisbee Watch
Thursday evening Fisbee discovered a tasty snack of goldfish and water (and a couple of number fives for good measure) left for him by Bitty (after seeing Jori's sweet girl do the same for Buddy). He took it easy, reading The Cajun Night Before Christmas and snacking away. I think he was saving up his energy for last night's endeavors...He incited a snowball fight! He recruited some of the smaller stuffed loveys, built fortifications and went to town.
They must have built the snowman BEFORE the fight began since he too seems to be in on the action.
See the scarf and blanket? And his stockpile of snowballs?
The Groovy Girl has her own stockpile there. And, her own crew of defenders.
Although, one of them seems a bit distracted by the treats...
We're making candy today--peanut butter balls, mounds candy, cream cheese mints, and trash. Tomorrow Lil and I will make ginger cookies after church and religious ed. We'll be getting an early afternoon start, so with any luck, will have them done by dinner time.
B and Lil are heading to a party in Hampton, so all the candy will wait to be dipped until they return this evening. Ellie and I will get into something--not sure what just yet--and I'll work on gift tags until she gets up.
I still have three batches of fondant to make, two batches of ginger cookies, some java shortbread, a number of orange chocolate loaf cakes and some Noel balls. Whew. But, I've gotten a good start today!
