Sisters

Pop sent these to me today.  I guess he had them hiding somewhere on his computer.  The email was from July 2003--she was almost 22 months old.  He was struck by the similarities between this and a post earlier this week featuring another little make-up artist. 

I can see that.  :o)  Oh, that Monkey, what a girl! The thing that first struck me on seeing these photos again is how much Miss Bean looks like her big sister right now.

Hannah was definitely bigger size wise, and her face and cheeks were fuller (and she had used real, honest-to-goodness make-up, but hey, who's counting?), but man, with the hair hanging in the face and those startling blue eyes, they could almost pass for twins. ;o)

I'm thinking I'm going to have to try to find all the photos of Miss Monk when she was tiny (they're somewhere on a desktop machine) and start posting them.  She was such a cutie and so delightful--even when covered with lipstick (although I sure as shootin' didn't think so at the time.  I'm fairly certain it never did come out of that shirt B is wearing...).
