Rach got through her surgery just fine. The procedure took about an hour and 45 minutes as opposed to the hour scheduled! The surgeon said that the fracture repair took roughly ten minutes and the remainder of the time was cleaning out inflammation, repairing the "nearly non-existent" ligaments in her ankle and repairing the damaged cartilage from an old injury.
Rach is home now, sleeping, she'll be in a cast (after the stitches come out in two weeks) for roughly six weeks. Hopefully she doesn't go crazy before then!
